Some pictures from a holiday in Scotland in July 2000 ....
Skye

The island of Skye is now joined to the mainland by a bridge spanning the sea between Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin. The bridge toll is a bit steep - £5.70 each way!

The mountain of Blaven (927m) seen from across Loch Slapin.

The Cuillin mountain range seen across the waters of the sea loch, Loch Scavaig from Elgol. This view is considered by some to be the finest in Britain but it was a little hazy when I was there.

The colourful harbour scene of the largest town on Skye, Portree.
