Some pictures from a holiday in Scotland in July 2000 ....
The romantic Eilean Donan Castle in Loch Duich is connected to the land by a causeway and a bridge. After becoming a Jacobite stronghold it was destroyed by English warships in 1719 but was later restored in the 19th century.
